Golden Gopher Hockey Tickets

Ticket King St. Paul is extremely excited to ring in the start of Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey schedule, with the 2009-2010 home opener at Mariucci Arena on Sunday October 4th against the British Columbia Thunderbirds.

The Gophers hockey roster takes on the North Dakota Fighting Sioux on January 15 and 16th, 2010, and the Wisconsin Badgers on March 7th, 2010 at home in Mariucci Arena. Ticket King St. Paul has Gopher hockey tickets for the games against the Fighting Sioux and Wisconsin Badgers, with prices ranging from $145-$195 per ticket in sections 22 row 6, 24 row 3, 17 row 24 and 18 row 2, to name a few.

Mariucci Arena is a great place to watch a hockey game because the Arena has the best sight lines possible from every one of its 10,000 seats! Whether you are in the front row or the last row, you will have a great view! Mariucci Arena has only one level, so there is no overhang to get in the way of any seat, and the rows are steep, so the last row still overlooks the ice without being too far away. When the Gophers hockey roster plays North Dakota and Wisconsin, Mariucci gets to be a rockin’ place, as many Sioux and Badgers fans make the trip to see the games, and the rivalry takes place not only on the ice, but in the seats as well. Tickets for these big rival games sell out quickly, so be sure to buy your Gopher hockey tickets SOON!

Gophers vs. Golden Bears - Questions Pertaining to TCF Bank Stadium

Apparently at last weekend's Gopher football schedule home opener at the brand new TCF Bank Stadium, there were some little...glitches...for the fans attending the game. We just received notice down here at Ticket King Saint Paul that they're working to fix some of those glitches to make the game a more enjoyable experience for all of you attending the game. The most noted changes should be...

1. There were some line issues at last weekends Gopher football game. Some fans had to wait in line for up to half an hour just to get through the entry gates! To help combat this, they will be opening the gates two hours prior to game time, opening two additional gates that went unused last weekend on the East side of the stadium and staffing more people at each gate to speed up the entry process.

2. There was a food shortage and long wait times for concessions at last weekend's game. In response to this, they will be adding additional portable food stands around the stadium to increase supply (and help decrease lines), double the number of sellers that run up and down the stands with concessions and increase their food storage.

3. There was a long wait for the post-game shuttle service to the U of M St. Paul campus. To make sure this doesn't happen again, the University will be adding buses with multiple doors to speed up transit/getting on and off the bus, close part of the route the bus takes to non-buses, add signage to waiting areas to combat confusion and also add a disability only shuttle service at a separate location.

Sounds like lots of changes that they'll be employing to fix some of the glitches they saw last week! Still want to go to the game? Gopher football tickets are still available for Saturday's game, and can be picked up at our Minneapolis storefront! give us a call at 651-298-8100 today!
