Not only did the Minnesota Wild WIN at home last night, not only is the Gophers hockey roster taking on the Denver Poineers hockey roster on Friday and Saturday nights, but the Minnesota Wild schedule brings our boys home AGAIN on Saturday night when they'll be taking on the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night! The fans, the team spirit, the cute hockey boys...it's fantastic. And this weekend will be extra fantastic when the Gopher hockey roster takes on the Denver Pioneers at Mariucci for two games on Friday and Saturday evenings. It's not every day when you have a chance to check out two of the hottest college hockey teams face off in Minnesota - in fact, it's (potentially, depending on tournament play...)only one weekend a year! The Gophers hockey roster takes on the North Dakota Fighting Sioux on January 15 and 16th, 2010, and the Wisconsin Badgers on March 7th, 2010 at home in Mariucci Arena.
