It's hot at Ticket King in February

It's another busy week down here at Ticket King St. Paul, and we have quite a few sporting events on the docket for this week:

Tuesday: the Minnesota Wild take on the Los Angeles Kings at the Xcel Energy Center - cheap Wild tickets are still available, give us a call at 651-298-8100 if you're looking!

Wednesday: The Target Center will be the hot spot of the day with the Minnesota Timberwolves taking on the Utah Jazz. Wednesday night is student night, and Ticket King has the best Minnesota Timberwolves tickets around!

Friday: The Minnesota Timberwolves heat up the Target Center yet again when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers, AND the always hot Gopher hockey team takes on the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs at Mariucci Arena. Wednesday - Motley Crue takes over the Xcel Energy Center in one of the biggest rock shows we've seen all winter!

Thursday - the Minnesota Wild face off with their division rival, the Calgary Flames, in a battle for a win at the Xcel Energy Center. Both the Men's and Women's basketball teams will be playing in Minneapolis as well.

Friday - the Minnesota Timberwolves hit the court as they take on the Indiana Pacers at the Target Center, and cheap Timberwolves tickets are still available for this game! Check 'em out!

Saturday - the Minnesota Wild play 2008 Stanley Cup Champion team the Detroit Red Wings at the Xcel Energy Center. You don't want to miss the slap-shotting action that happens when these two teams hit the ice!

Valentine's Week!!

This week at Ticket King:

Tuesday: The Minnesota Timberwolves schedule continues to heat up as the team takes on the Toronto Raptors at the Target Center. Gopher basketball tickets are also available to see the super hot division one team take on the Indiana Hoosiers at Williams arena.

Wednesday: Minnesota Wild tickets are available to see the team battle it out with rival team the Colorado Avalanche.

Friday and Saturday: The Gopher hockey team takes on the Alaska Seawolves at Mariucci Arena, surprise your sweetie with this treat of a game!

Saturday: The always popular Valentine's game on the Minnesota Wild schedule is almost sold out, but a few tickets are still around! It's the perfect gift for your sweetheart!

Ticket King Rug...Part Deux

Today, Ticket King Saint Paul received our very own Ticket King rug! And it's just so pretty, we had to share. Since it's winter, we left the old (incredibly dirty) rug underneath the new rug, pulling it out a little further toward the edge of the Ticket King front door so that it absorbs some of the excess snow/ice/salt that gets carried in before it actually hits the new rug. It looks great, though, stop in and check it out on your way to your next St. Paul event!

Just a reminder that the WORLD'S TOUGHEST RODEO will be at the Xcel Energy Center this Friday and Saturday night's, with a concert following the rodeo each night! Week of January 26th

Man, another week of cold down here at Ticket King St. Paul! When will this nasty weather be done for the year? Snow is ok, but this cold is...too cold! This time of year does not bring a whole heckuvalot of performers to our great state, so there's not a whole heckuvalot going on this week. Although there do seem to be a few good things on the Xcel Energy Center schedule. Anyway, here's what's going on around the Twin Cities this week:

Tonight: Minnesota Wild vs. Toronto Maple Leafs. One of the original six playing at the Xcel Energy Center! Don't miss this big game!

Wednesday night: Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Detroit Pistons at the Target Center.

Thursday night: Golden Gopher basketball vs. Illinois Fighting Illini at Williams Arena.

Friday night is when it all goes down:

Lunch in St. Paul

One of our favorite lunch spots down here at Ticket King St. Paul is the Eagle Street Grill. It's really close to the office (bonus) and they have good food to boot. Their soup in particular is super good. They have this super fabulous tomato soup with smoked Gouda cheese that is sooo good with a grilled cheese (sans bacon). And today's choice was awesome, too: chicken and wild rice. I love it. It's actually a great place to stop for dinner if you have Wild tickets to a game, because it's also the closest restaurant to the Xcel Energy Center. Check them out on your way to your next game :)

Quiet Week

We were definitely feeling the rush of Monday and Tuesday down here at Ticket King Saint Paul. That's because there were so many events over the course of the two days! But now that we're into the later part of the week, with no huge events to speak of, it's quieted down quite a bit. And we are enjoying being able to get caught up before our offices start getting crazy again! There are only a few events on the horizon of the Xcel Energy Center schedule, and other than that it's looking like things will be fairly calm down here on the streets of St. Paul for the next couple of weeks. Until the hockey tournaments start in February. Then it'll be crazy again....but it's nice to be busy, too :)
