We have a new intern at Ticket King St Paul! Her name is Beth and she will be working with us through the summer updating our websites and creating her own blog and tweets (www.twitter.com). We might need her help cleaning the floor from time to time as well, this isn’t a glamorous internship, but it will provide her with good writing, marketing and internet experience.

Long Week

I have a feeling that it's going to be a slow week down here at Ticket King St. Paul. After last week's whirlwind of a crazy hockey and basketball schedule around the Twin Cities venues, it's pretty dead around town. There's literally nothing.going.on. At least until Saturday, when Jay Leno will performing at Mystic Lake and Sunday when the Timberwolves take on the New Jersey Nets. Next week, however, is a different story. Our Minnesota Wild come home on Tuesday to the Xcel Energy Center to take on their arch rival, the Vancouver Canucks in one of only three regular season home games left this season. They're hanging on, and with Marian Gaborik back on the Minnesota Wild roster, they actually might have a shot at making it to the NHL playoffs, if they really want to. Although captain Mikko Koivu is possibly out for the rest of the season with an injury sustained in Sunday's game against the Edmonton Oilers, which could definitely hurt the morale of the team. That being said, next Tuesday's game is going to be a clincher, and we've already moved a ton of tickets for that game.
